As an Event Advocacy Specialist, you will work closely with event volunteers to increase their level of engagement and sense of ownership in our shared ministry.

Responsibilities

*Collaborate on the recruitment and selection of Compassion volunteers and engage. *Collaborate on the equipping and development of Compassion volunteers, increasing their engagement in our shared ministry. *Actively take opportunities to collaborate effectively with colleagues, supporting others in order to achieve shared Ministry aims and targets. *Grow, facilitate and resource our Church Champion Advocate Community. *Actively maintain and promote Compassion UK's Christian ethos and values.

Required skills

The successful candidate will have the following skills: *Volunteer management, safeguarding practices, and compliance standards. Skilled professional with extensive experience in these areas. *Office 365 proficiency. Experienced in utilising a wide range of productivity tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other applications. 8Stakeholder collaboration. Proven ability to foster successful partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals. *Personal effectiveness. Strong written and verbal communication, excellent workload management, ability to work independently, maintain composure under pressure, and encourage creative ideation. *Continuous improvement. Open to peer feedback and proactive in self-assessment to drive personal growth and ongoing development. *Training and facilitation. Skilled in organising and delivering training sessions, both in-person and online, effectively facilitating learning experiences in various formats.

Other

It would be beneficial (although not mandatory) to possess: *Experience using a CRM solution. *Full UK driving licence as the postholder will be required to be present at events all across the country.
