The Children's Outreach Worker will support All Souls Primary School spiritually within the context of the church, aligning with its Christian ethos and creating an accessible pathway from the school to the church for all families.

Responsibilities

Mentoring and Training: - Regular mentoring and relevant training provided by the Senior Minister (0-18) School Engagement: - Plan and lead a programme of assemblies for weekly collective worship, involving other members of the 0-18 team as necessary - Develop and run school Bible Clubs - Plan and execute a week-long Holiday Bible Club during February half-term - Lead and oversee the Transforming Lives for Good (TLG) Programme with ASLP church members - Support school events such as Christmas, Easter, and Harvest services. Youth Transition: - Create a programme that transitions Year 6 children to the AS Youth Group

Required skills

Committed conservative evangelical Christian in full sympathy with the values and aims of All Souls Langham Place, with a high regard for Scripture and holistic mission. Ability to relate to a diverse range of cultural backgrounds and age groups, especially primary-aged children. Experience working with primary-aged children and preparing creative Bible teachings for this age group. Hardworking, prayerful, with a servant heart and Christian integrity. Proactive in taking initiatives and developing new ideas. Confident in front-facing roles and in liaising with school leaders and teachers. Effective team player who can lead, recruit, and equip a team of serving partners. Committed to regular attendance and membership at All Souls. Strong administrative, delegating, communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
