Ministry Worker

We are looking for an enthusiastic committed evangelical Christian, who loves the gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ, to join our ministry team. Ideally, we would like someone with a heart for ministry to: Women | Families | Children | Young people.

Responsibilities

- Pastoral care of, and one-to-one ministry with women. - Supporting and encouraging parents/carers to share their faith with their children and bring them up in the Christian community - Leading and encouraging the church's ministry to children - Leading and contributing to the church's ministry to young people However, should you be interested in some, but not all of these areas, please do get in touch. Part time would also be considered.

Required skills

The person we are looking for will: - Feel called by God to come and work with us to develop these important areas of ministry - Possess a proven ability to handle Scripture and communicate well with women, young people, children and families - Be a team player with good relational skills, well organised and with appropriate training and experience - Have an enthusiasm for evangelism, be able to motive others and engage with unbelievers - Have some formal training in theology or Bible ministry

Other

The post holder will require a DBS check and will have the right to live and work in the UK. Due to the nature of the role, there is an occupational requirement that the holder be a practising Christian under part 1 of schedule 9 of the equality Act 2010. The stipend for this role will be according to training and experience.
