We are a church committed to Bible teaching and Biblical evangelism, situated in the centre of Farnham in Surrey. We are currently full at our 10am service with about 160 people attending and a growing number of young families.

Responsibilities

To work with young children and people | To be able to teach and disciple children and young people from the scriptures | To train and motivate those who work with children and youth in the church | Supporting and encouraging parents and carers to share their Christian faith with their children | Take an active part in church services, including teaching adults and leading all-age services | To be involved as appropriate with Farnham-wide initiatives to share the Christian message in local schools.

Required skills

We are looking for an evangelical Christian, who loves the gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ, with a proven ability to handle Scripture and communicate well with young people and their parents. The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for youth work and evangelism and be able to motivate others and engage with unbelievers. They will also be a team player with good relational skills, well organised and with appropriate training and experience.

We have a total membership of 229 but a significant number of those are part of a church plant on the other side of Farnham. We are able to offer a stipend according to experience and housing.
