A Campaign Director is now sought to oversee and deliver St Anne's building development project's Development Phase.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Chair of the Campaign Board, the postholder will ensure that all partnership funding (£3.5m) is raised or pledged, lead development through to a completed RIBA Stage 3, ensure planning and consents are in place, and complete NLHF check list items. The Campaign Director will be working with a Fundraising Appeal Board, have the support of Care for St Anne's (an independent charitable Trust set up in 1978 to raise and hold funds for St Anne's conservation), and will line manage a Trusts and Foundations Officer and Finance and Admin Officer.

Required skills

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate: Extensive fundraising experience, working within the full spectrum of development, including cultivation, gift solicitations, stewardship, and donor recognition. Ability to close leadership gifts (ideally c.£500,000+) in a relationship-based culture. Experience of working with heritage sites and/or places of worship to deliver regeneration initiatives/capital programmes of works. Experience of working with a wide range of partners across sectors, at national, regional, and local levels. A good understanding of current building conservation principles and techniques. Experience of procuring and managing consultants and contractors and managing contract negotiations. We are looking for a strategic individual, with exceptional communication skills, and the ability to successfully integrate partnerships. A strong background in campaign management, with the ability to move adeptly between big picture thinking and day-to-day operations, where it will be necessary, for example, to process own admin, will be essential. Occasional evening and weekend working is expected.
