We are seeking to appoint a Group Finance Director; a role which has responsibility for the financial stability and sustainability of 10ofThose UK and 10ofThose USA, and subsidiaries.

Responsibilities

- Provide and lead financial reviews, budgets, balance sheets, forecasts and recommendations, including cash flow, with and to the Group CEO and company Business Managers. - Regularly report on the above to the CEO and Board. - Lead and manage the Finance team (including USA team members). - Oversee and review all accounting tasks and procedures. - Review and manage costs, margin etc. as well as speak into the sales/retail team pricing structures and discounts. - Be responsible for timely payment/receipt of all creditors/debtors. - Calculation of half year and year end stock provisions assessing reasonableness. - Overseeing Payroll (currently outsourced). - Ensure timely preparation and filing of Annual Accounts UK and US. - Ensure compliance with UK and US tax and finance regulations. - Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team reporting to the CEO

Required skills

- You will have previous experience in an analytical finance or Management Accounts role, preferably within retail. - Very strong analytical skills in order to investigate, understand, and explain variances and overall business performance. - Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines. - Strong Excel skills with experience of using Vlookups, Sumifs, pivot tables etc - Strong communication skills both written and verbal required. - High attention to detail and be positive, flexible, enthusiastic, and driven. - Understanding of and willingness to participate fully in a SME. All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis and be able to demonstrate full sympathy of the business' aims, objectives, and beliefs.

Other

Highly Desirable: - CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified Accountant. - Experience in a multi–national group setting especially within the US.
