Event Sales Representative

We're looking for an enthusiastic, people-loving Christian who is confident speaking with individuals and groups, is skilled in sales and who is excited about serving churches through books.

Responsibilities

Based at our HQ in Leyland, you'll travel across the UK providing pop-up bookshops at churches, conferences, and Christian events. You'll serve attendees with knowledgeable, warm, and enthusiastic recommendations. Both one-to-one and when speaking to larger groups. A key part of the role is helping churches and individuals envision how books can be used effectively for discipleship and evangelism. As part of the wider sales team, you'll join the effort to grow sales through follow-up conversations, email, and phone contact. This is a highly relational and outward-facing role that involves regular travel, evenings, and weekends. On average, you'll be away serving churches three weekends out of every five, with some nights away during the week as well. Start date: As soon as possible. Required skills

- A committed Christian with full agreement to our basis of faith. - A love for Jesus and desire to see his people grow and the lost reached. - An ability to communicate your enthusiasm and belief in something to convince others of its benefits. - Innovative and creative when looking for sales leads, while able to follow direction. - Passionate about books and their role in discipleship and evangelism. - Committed to working evenings and weekends, including nights away, at churches and venues around the country. - Confident and assertive while showing humility and quickness to learn. - Excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to multitask. - Dedication to providing excellent customer service. - Confidence to stand up and speak in front of groups of people. - Full driving licence; held for longer than 1 year.

Other

Salary: £25,500-£27,000 as well as overnight bonus' for when working away from home. Hours: Full–time, exact working hours will vary, with evenings and frequent weekends required.
