Families and Schools Worker

We are seeking a full time member of staff to join our team to lead our ministry to our families and local schools.

Responsibilities

The member of staff will (i) help the church reach out to local families and young people with the good news of Jesus Christ; (ii) help disciple children and young people in partnership with their parents to follow Jesus Christ; and (iii) coordinate the church's input to local schools.

Required skills

- A committed evangelical who loves Jesus Christ and whose lifestyle reflects the Gospel. - A person committed to the ministry of word and prayer dependant on the Holy Spirit as central to the growth of the church. - A person who has undertaken relevant ministry and/or theological training. - Someone who is a good team player and can encourage and equip others for ministry. - A person who has a real heart for families, children and young people. - A person who is able to relate and mix with people from every section of the community. - A person who is willing to try new and creative things to reach families with the Gospel. - A person with a strong awareness of safeguarding procedures and their implementation.
