Ministry Trainee (1–2 years): Grow in ministry skills and character while discerning future gospel ministry. Includes Cornhill training, mentoring, tailored ministry involvement, outreach, practical church experience, and leadership opportunities.

Responsibilities

Training & development - 2 days at the Cornhill Training course - 1-on-1 mentoring, supervision and training - Time for personal study Ministry opportunities - Children's or youth ministry - Free English outreach - Tailored to fit each individual. Could also include: - Leading a Home Group - Men or Women's Ministry initiatives - Discipleship, evangelism and pastoral care - Evangelistic groups Practical experience - Welcome ministry or music ministry - Creative and administrative skills - Team leadership - Event planning and management - Giving talks, seminar delivery

Required skills

This voluntary worker training role is for one year, starting on 1 September 2026. If appropriate, the role could be extended to two years. This role is subject to safer recruitment and appointments will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
