Children's Worker

Euston Church is a vibrant conservative evangelical Anglican church, at the heart of the student quarter in central London. We are looking to appoint a part-time Children's Worker, beginning on 1 September 2025

Responsibilities

We are looking to appoint a part-time Children's Worker who will: Work alongside parents and the Families Minister to oversee and develop our ministry to children and young people (including Sunday Club, events for families and church weekends away); Engage in building relationships with our community to reach children and families locally; Assist with the recruitment and training of volunteers; and Help the church set and maintain clear policies around safeguarding, risk management and legal compliance and ensure these are followed by volunteers.

Required skills

We are looking for someone who is passionate about sharing Jesus with the next generation, has strong communication and interpersonal skills and experience teaching the Bible to children. They would be expected to be an active member of Euston Church, committed to the church's vision and values and to their own personal growth as a disciple of Jesus.

Other

This is a 2-3 day role; initially for two years; beginning on 1 September 2025. 5-day salary range £27,000 - £28,500 (dependant on experience) and includes a generous pension contribution.
