Student Minister

We are looking to recruit a Student Minister to oversee discipleship and evangelism among university students.

Responsibilities

- Lead our student ministry team, alongside our woman student worker; - Oversee discipleship and evangelism in a large and growing student ministry; - Lead our Sunday 5pm student service, including regular expository preaching; - Help to reach the vast, and international, student population on our doorstep.

Required skills

The precise role is flexible depending on the applicant's particular gifts, experience and passions. It would be an ideal curacy for an Anglican ordinand, or for an independent candidate who has been to theological college and is looking for a ministerial post. We would also consider candidates who have completed a church apprenticeship scheme and have worked in ministry amongst young adults for several years. There is an Occupational Requirement for the job holder to be an evangelical Christian.

This is a full-time position, initially for three years, to begin on 1 September 2023. Salary and benefits dependent on experience and includes a generous pension contribution. Safeguarding: conditional offers will be made pending the successful completion of an enhanced DBS check which will be processed by Euston Church.
