Pastor for Evangelism

We are very much God's work in progress but by his grace, Dundonald Church is a thriving reformed evangelical church in south-west London. Applications are invited for this exciting senior leadership position of Pastor with a focus on evangelism.

Responsibilities

The role will ideally include a flexible balance of the following: - Leading our "Evangelise" ministry – developing and encouraging a healthy and active culture of evangelism across our church family; - Contributing (according to experience) as part of a team of pastors to our staff team (under the leadership of the Senior Pastor), providing ministries that effectively serve our vision; - Pastoring our congregations – according to gifting contributing to the provision of Biblical preaching, teaching, counselling & personal care, safeguarding responsibility and pastoral situations; - Assisting our Senior Pastor - in consultation with our Governing elders in evolving and implementing our strategic vision to make disciples for Christ;

Required skills

The successful candidate may be from any denomination and will be: - Godly and Biblical - spiritually mature, reformed evangelical, prayerfully servant-hearted & faithfully evangelistic, - Experienced - theologically trained with ministry experience(or as appropriate open to further training); - Team oriented – enjoys team-work, able to give & receive direction and build cheerful collaboration among a diversity of people and roles; - Competent – able, organised & committed with sustainable sacrifice to excellent outcomes;
