Intern - Childrens Work

Intern with a particular focus on Sunday work with primary-aged children. Training and mentoring provided; plenty of opportunity for involvement in other areas too. Happy to tailor to the individual's preferences, gifts and calling.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a ministry intern for 2022-3, with a particular focus on co-ordinating the Sunday work with primary-aged children. We will provide resources, training and mentoring in the role, but need someone with the time to give to it! Beyond that, we're happy to tailor the role to your skills, gifts and passions – for example there are options to do more with youth work, social media, preschoolers, schools work, community outreach, music, etc. We offer a fully-funded position, including training (either via the Midlands Gospel Partnership or the Diocese of Southwell & Nottingham; your choice; we are part of both).

We are a medium-sized evangelical Anglican church in north-east Nottingham. The parish is largely suburban, though also includes the top edge of St Ann's. The church has a strong emphasis on: - good Bible teaching - showing grace to those who are different from us, which works out in diversity of age, race, culture, social class, etc - nurturing gifts and developing leaders - showing hospitality and welcoming others Our objectives as a church are to: 1.
