Women's Worker

We are looking for a woman with Cornhill-level expository training, someone marked by humility, a delight in God's Word, and a readiness to disciple other female students and adults.

Responsibilities

The precise shape of the role will depend partly on the gifts and experience of the person appointed, but it is likely to include: - leading one or two women's small groups each week - Bible teaching among women - substantial ongoing training in Bible handling and women's ministry - one-to-one Bible ministry among women - evangelism - discipling and pastoral support among women - participation in a weekly staff meeting

Required skills

Someone who is a self-starter and enjoys meeting up with women and opening the Bible with them is important to this ministry. Ideally the Women's Worker would work with some of the existing women to start groups up and grow the existing ones.

Other

Bristol is a friendly place, our church is centrally located, and there's lots of people to come alongside, but organising time and planning each day would mostly be the candidate's responsibility.
