Women's Worker

We are seeking a woman of godly character, with an interest in developing their pastoral and teaching gifts, to serve our ministry to women. This is a two-year role. For more information and details on how to apply, please visit www.stebbes.org/jobs.

Responsibilities

Serving in a regular ministry area for women; Pastoral care of female members of the church family under the oversight, and with the support, of a member of the church's leadership team and alongside the rest of the female ministry staff; Working alongside the female ministry staff to disciple women in the church across different groups; Involvement, on a rotational basis, with the variety of women's ministries already functioning at St Ebbe's (e.g. Mothers Of Little Ones, Thursday Morning Fellowship, Women's Bible studies); Participation in strategic discussions about women's ministry and wider church planning; Participation on two of the Sunday ministry teams (to be determined based on fit and need); Involvement in planning and overseeing women's events; Some administrative support of women's ministry.

Required skills

A committed Evangelical Christian who enthusiastically affirms our Basis of Faith; A woman of godliness and integrity who is growing in character who is able to affirm our adopted statement on complementarianism; Some experience in pastoral care and ministry; Ability to mentor volunteers for ministry.

Other

Additional ministry training will be provided through the South Central Gospel Partnership Ministry Training Course or other suitable provision.
