St Andrew's Kendray is a conservative evangelical Anglican Church based in middle of a council estate in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We would like to appoint an Assistant Minister to help us reach our community with the great news of Jesus.
Responsibilities
The right candidate will be devoted to praying for the work of the gospel in this area. He will share in the preaching and teaching ministry of St Andrew's and be part of the church leadership team. He will be involved in inter-personal ministry (121 or small group) and will lead a Growth Group. He will attend the weekly staff meeting.
Required skills
We are seeking a gifted Bible-teacher who will teach God's word faithfully and clearly to young and old alike, and who will be able to help pastor and disciple God's people in Kendray.
Other
More than his gifts we seek a godly and prayerful man who delights in Jesus. He will also have clear gospel convictions and be able to contextualise gospel ministry on a council estate. In addiction to the salary your remuneration will include housing, pension and annual training conference.
