We are looking for a godly and able administrator to help administrate various areas of our church life. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, but could be combined with that of Women's Worker to create a full-time position.

Responsibilities

- Producing handouts for midweek small groups and Sunday services - Maintaining websites with talk recordings and details of upcoming events - Preparing song slides and any multi-media required for Sunday services - Monitoring emails and responding to general enquiries - Communicating regularly with the church family via WhatsApp - Coordinating Sunday service plans – including by overseeing rotas - Assisting in the organisation of evangelistic events, weekends away and outreach courses - Developing our use of social media - Coordinating the safe recruitment of those working in regulated activity - Providing specific administrative support to the Senior Minister - In time, helping with administration related to church finances

Required skills

- Minimum of two years of previous employment - Office or administrative experience - Organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks - Problem solving skills and ability to use initiative - Research skills and ability to analyse material and extract useful information - Attention to detail - Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team - Fluent in written and spoken English - Ability to communicate clearly - Computer literacy and ability to learn new skills

- For a suitable candidate, this role could be combined with that of Women's Worker (combined salary £31,500) - This role could also be combined with part-time theological training (e.g. on the Cornhill Training Course)
