Assistant Pastor or Youth And Families Lead

Assistant Pastor with responsibilities for Youth & Families or Youth And Families Lead: A position for someone who loves the Lord and has a passion for teaching, evangelism, discipleship and reaching out to young people and families.

Responsibilities

Your role To share pastoral responsibilities within the church; leading and developing activities with children, young people and families. Supported by volunteers, our aim is for you to help children grow in faith and the number of families in church increase.

Required skills

Skills and experience: -Personal Christian faith and acceptance of the Bible as God's word. -A Genuine Occupational Requirement is for full agreement with the church's basis of faith which is aligned to FIEC, as well as with the FIEC ethos statements. -Some experience of young people's work desirable.

Terms Job Title: Will be decided based on the successful candidate. Hours: Full time (hours negotiable) Salary: Up to £33,000 pa. depending on hours and experience. Two year contract with expectation of renewal.
