Our strategy is anchored by a pioneering ambition: to champion Christian Befriending in the heart of London, embodying a commitment to meaningful relationships in our communities. We aim to be leaders, cultivating authentic connections with those we serve. We uniformly apply a professionally developed framework with clear objectives to all ASSTC ministries. The Christian Befriending scheme includes a volunteer onboarding initiative to equip our volunteers with the requisite skills and compassion for meaningful engagement with those we serve. The goal is to tangibly impact the lives of our clients and create a framework for churches and Christian charities to emulate, enabling others to embrace the power of befriending within their specific endeavours. Strategic Priority 1: We are leaders in Christian Befriending Goal: Engage a consultant to advise on and co-create a Christian Befriending programme that cultivates authentic, supportive relationships consistently across ministries. Goal: Establish and implement a Befriending programme consistently across ministries. Goal: Establish and implement a Befriending programme training for volunteers consistently across ministries.
