As Executive Director, you will lead ASSTC's ministries with a gospel-centred befriending model, strengthening service delivery and community impact while ensuring the charity's vision and values are lived out through management, advocacy, and excellence.
Uphold the highest standards of governance, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements for charities. Deliver the current two-year strategic plan while shaping and executing ASSTC's future vision beyond this timeframe. Ensure ministry objectives align with the priorities of the charity and All Souls Church. Embed a holistic, gospel-centred ethos across all ministries, with staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries. Build and lead a cohesive, motivated team in a flourishing workplace culture. Develop and lead advocacy strategies that highlight the needs of vulnerable people in Westminster. Build and maintain strategic relationships with local authorities, community leaders, and partner organisations to influence policy and practice.
Expected Standards: Fully participate in the spiritual life of All Souls and ASSTC Be a committed member of the All Souls Church family Be able to teach the Bible in the context of leading and discipling a team, as required. Exhibit proactive leadership on health, safety and wellbeing within their own areas of responsibility. Be an advocate for and role model for the values of ASSTC and All Souls Church. Prioritise their own personal walk with God above all else. Essential: Committed conservative evangelical Christian in sympathy with the vision, mission and values of All Souls Church. Educated to degree level, or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in missiology, urban mission, ethnology or cross-cultural mission, and urban research methodology. Whole-of-life disciple wanting to know Christ more and grow in grace, obedience and Christlikeness themselves. Experience of running a charity in a senior position. Committed to the importance of social action ministry as an integrated part of church ministry. Desirable: Comfortable with public speaking and representing the charity to church and non-church groups. Qualification in missiology, urban mission, ethnology or cross-cultural mission. Certificate in Management or other relevant management and administration certification. Experience and proficiency in GSuite and charity CRMs (including Donorfy).
