Pastor

We are seeking an experienced Spirit filled Pastor, who is called to serve the people within Shetland, and is committed to Biblical preaching and practical application. Please email lbcsecretary@hotmail.co.uk for a church profile and more information.

Responsibilities

To lead services, support and nurture home groups, and lead the pastoral care team by also visiting the congregation. To lead and work alongside the staff team to encourage personal development and the progression of the various ministries. To encourage the congregation to develop and use their spiritual and practical gifts.

Required skills

Primarily a committed Christian, a man of prayer and one who walks closely with his Saviour to provide an example and encouragement for others to do the same. Possess a suitable theological qualification that demonstrates sound doctrine and biblical knowledge. A strong ability to teach, communicate effectively, and preach the word of God.
