Pastor

The pastor of Cornerstone Evangelical Church (CEC), along with the other elders, will be responsible for shepherding the group of believers that make up CEC, so as to glorify God in developing a gospel-shaped, mission-hearted church community.

Responsibilities

Cornerstone Church is a warm and friendly evangelical church based in Abergavenny, a market town in the beautiful county of Monmouthshire, Wales. We have around 90 members, and regular attendance of 100-130 at our Sunday morning service, which includes 30-40 children and youth. We are not a perfect church and we don't expect our pastor to be perfect either – we recognise that we each have different giftings and we don't anticipate our new pastor will be good at everything. However, we are looking for someone who can develop and put to use the gifting of others, "for we are co-workers in God's service" (1 Cor 3:9).
