We're seeking to appoint a woman to our staff team to help reach, disciple and train UK and international students.
Working with the Student & International Co-ordinator, you will give pastoral care and teach the Bible (focusing on female students),develop evangelism, small-group ministry and leaders (including Ministry Trainees) and handle key admin (including weekly events, weekends away and conferences). The role requires experience of pastoral and cross-cultural ministry, Bible teaching and equipping others for service.
To fulfil this role, the office holder must demonstrate a mature Christian faith, godly character, and a passion for student ministry. Skills/gifts to be exercised and experience required include: - Teaching the Bible (one-to-one, small groups, and talks) and equipping others in discipleship and evangelism. - Building relationships and working cross-culturally. - Training and developing leaders in ministry. - Providing pastoral care with sensitivity and wisdom. - Leading and managing teams collaboratively and effectively. - Strong organizational and administrative skills.
The Female Student and International Worker will work under the guidance of the Student and International Co-ordinator to support and develop student and international ministry. The role involves ensuring pastoral care, leadership development, evangelism and spiritual growth, with a focus on (but not limited to) working with women. Together with the Student and International Co-ordinator, the office holder will work to maintain, expand, and develop these ministries and support the Ministry Training Programme. This role is shaped by our complementarian convictions regarding the roles of men and women in ministry.
