We are seeking an administrator to support the ministry among our diverse and loving local church family. This is a part-time role, 22 hours a week, paid at the London living wage, but could be combined with a ministry role for the right individual.

Responsibilities

- Office management – ensuring the smooth running of the church office - Communications – acting as the church's first point of contact for many in the community - Sunday services – supporting the management of our Sunday services - Finance – supporting the Treasurer in the management of the accounts - Rentals – managing the tenants who rent rooms in our building during the week and seeking to find new tenants to ensure good income - Buildings maintenance – overseeing the regular maintenance of the building

Required skills

Administration, time and task management, basic financial administration, a confident and gentle manner when engaging with the public, ability to support and motivate volunteers, proactivity, flexibility. Training will be available for all specific skills required (e.g., use of software and current processes in place).

We are looking for somebody with a vision for enabling ministry, a desire to serve the church family in organising the details of church life, a concern for people and a deep personal love of Christ to join our small staff team as we move forward together as a church.
