Trinity Church seeks a full-time Youth Minister to lead our growing ministry in beautiful Cornwall. With a vision to see God transform lives in Truro, this role offers an exciting chance to disciple youth, support families, and equip leaders.

Responsibilities

Key areas of responsibility include: - To provide strategic oversight and leadership of the youth ministry within Trinity and to lead the Trinity Youth Leadership Team - To support, train and develop volunteers across our youth ministries - To develop youth work in new directions and enable existing work to flourish

Required skills

- Experience of working with young people in a church context, including a proven track record of delivering a balanced program for young people including Bible teaching and social activities - Evidence of an ability to train and lead a team of volunteers - Experience of working collaboratively within a ministry team - Diploma (or above) level of education in Biblical Studies or Theology [desirable] - An appreciation of youth culture and specific issues that young people in Cornwall may face - Excellent communication skills - A thorough understanding of Safeguarding Policies and the ability to work within and adhere to them - Up-to-date IT skills and understanding of the potential of social media management
