Assistant Minister

We have a lot going on in our church and much potential, especially with many schools and 25,000 people in our parish (30 minutes north of London). We seek an Assistant Minister to help in the work across the parish. Could it be you?

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the role may include: a) Sharing the workload of service-leading b) Supporting and resourcing home group leaders c) Running discipleship courses d) Pastoral visiting and 1-2-1 Bible reading e) Supporting and leading the Sunday School teams f) Leading the door-to-door outreach team g) Visiting schools for assemblies, R.E. classes, etc

- Able to work effectively as part of a team - Hardworking, self-motivated and an ability to take initiative and make things happen - Clear communicator - Servant-hearted attitude - Time management skills. Ability to plan ahead, prioritise, and juggle competing priorities - Approachable, flexible and open to ideas and suggestion - Warm, energetic, and approachable personality
