CityGates Church is a growing, vibrant city centre church of around 350-400 people in Norwich. We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at CityGates as a Pastor-in-Training.
Responsibilities
The main area of ministry responsibility will be our student work and 20's. We have an established programme of teaching, discipleship and annual events and are looking for someone to oversee and develop this ministry. The candidate will have experience in leading teams and will be able to lead and work with the current student & 20's team to continue our vision to make and mature disciples in Norwich, Norfolk and the UK. In addition to this area of ministry, responsibilities will include one-to-one discipleship, visitation, teaching and preaching as well as supporting the established team as needs arise.
Required skills
The successful candidate will have some experience in preaching and teaching. This position is most likely for those who have already undertaken a Ministry Trainee/Apprenticeship type programme within a local church.

The successful candidate will be a godly man of prayer and demonstrate the character qualities expressed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1 for an elder.
