Discipleship Training Scheme

Are you looking … - for first-hand experience of church-based ministry? - to test and develop your gifts in a local church? - for theological training in a practical context?

Responsibilities

Enfield Town Community Church is looking for people to start our Discipleship Training Scheme (DTS) in September 2025. Those on the DTS will: - be involved in the full range of church ministries with an opportunity to focus on a specific ministry if desired. - take part in training at Cornhill or with Crosslands and attend relevant conferences. - be encouraged to develop skills in doing short Bible talks, leading Bible studies where appropriate and reading 1-2-1 with others. - be individually encouraged in their discipleship through 1-2-1 mentoring and structured reading.

Required skills

We are looking for people who want to grow in their love and knowledge of Christ, who are centred on God's word, and would love to help others to do the same. You will need to be able to declare wholehearted acceptance of the FIEC doctrinal basis and agreement with the FIEC ethos statements. See https://fiec.org.uk/who-we-are/beliefs
