We are looking for a Children and Youth Lead to join our team and oversee the work with children & youth. This full-time role is initially for 2 years. To find out more, please visit: https://www.anlabychurches.org.uk/z/vacancies85

Responsibilities

- Be an active part of the staff team; be willing to learn and grow together, and support one another. - Recruit, build and train healthy teams with good working relationships. - Help lead some groups and events, setting an example of good practice. - Represent the needs and concerns of children and families to the church leaders and develop good regular communications with parents and the church family. - Be concerned for safeguarding across the life of the church, and help ensure that all safeguarding procedures are followed (in partnership with the Parish Safeguarding Officer). - Pray regularly with and for children and young people, their families, and the leaders. - Participate fully in the life of the church. - Maintain effective working relationships with church leadership, children and youth leaders, parents, schools and partners serving the needs of children and families. - Demonstrate commitment to continuous personal and professional development.
