This is a key role in our supportive and friendly staff team, helping to ensure that our church building and ministries are safe, welcoming and effectively managed.
This role involves: - Managing the building and daily operations - Working alongside staff and volunteers to further our mission - Providing administrative support for church activities
- Staff management experience with proven leadership and management skills. - Experience in leading teams and developing people with a view to driving continuous improvement. - A high level of verbal and written communication skills. - An innovative thinker with the ability to think creatively and strategically and help co-ordinate and implement long term solutions to problems. - Must be able to deal and negotiate with contractors and suppliers of goods and services confidently and with authority. - Must be comfortable working with and managing modern office technology, have a knowledge of database systems and have a high competency with modern software. (Support in learning these systems can be offered as appropriate.) - Must be able to work in a team environment and be comfortable with working alongside people of different ages and diverse cultures and personalities. - Excellent people skills, with a patient and gentle manner, appropriate discretion, and genuine pastoral concern for others. - Calmness under pressure
