Associate Minister

We are a Christ-centred, evangelical, cosmopolitan church located in a diverse area of south east London. Our mission: 'Partnering together to know Jesus and make Him known'.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a man who will work with the Elders and Senior Minister, lead with vision and godliness, teach the Bible faithfully, encourage mission and help oversee pastoral care of our church family. Specifically, the role will focus on preaching, Fellowship Groups and youth work. Men's ministry, outreach, Children's Church and 1:1 ministry will be part of the role as needed/ opportunity exists.

Required skills and characteristics: A deep, personal commitment to Jesus and a lifestyle that commends the gospel A love for God's Word and a conviction that teaching the Bible is central to the role and to ministry A commitment to daily personal prayer and Bible study A passion for sharing your faith with others Formal theological education or training is preferable
