Minister

We are seeking a minister to lead and guide us as we develop our ministry in Long Buckby and the surrounding area

Responsibilities

Working with and developing our team of lay workers, you will preach and teach, oversee pastoral care, community work and evangelism, and help us to relate the Bible and the good news of Jesus to the contemporary society in which we live.

Required skills

A strong, personal Christian faith rooted in prayerful study of scripture and reflection on life experiences and the ability to communicate this in action and words The ability to unite, challenge and nourish us and manage differences effectively A collaborative leadership style which provides shape and direction whilst enabling and drawing out the gifts of others An ability to relate to all both within the church and the broader community

Other

We are a vibrant church with 85 members and a broad spread of ages. We worship in a contemporary style and value intelligent Bible-focussed teaching which relates to the challenges of modern life. We draw people in from towns and villages within a 10 mile radius and seek to support people develop local ministry where they live.
