Church Leader

Bridgnorth Baptist Church is an established church in the heart of an historic market town, with a weekly congregation of around 60. We are looking for a new church leader to nurture 'every member ministry' and to focus on children, youth and families.

Responsibilities

- Someone to coordinate and share leadership with our five teams. - Someone to do the majority of teaching in church services. - Someone to oversee pastoral care. - Someone to champion evangelism. - Someone to lead us through the minefield of contemporary social and moral issues.

Required skills

- Someone experienced in leading others. - Someone with authority, who others will follow. - Someone anointed by the Holy Spirit and is active in its outworking. - Someone to encourage and nurture people in service and draw on their strengths. - Someone who is a consistently good teacher/preacher/communicator, who uses a biblical basis for their teaching and plans a coherent and cohesive sequence of teaching that has a beginning, middle and end; relevant to the 'now' and relevant to the vision of the church.

Other

- Someone Bible-based and Spirit-led. - Someone prayerful and worshipful. - Someone to lead us towards our church vision. - Someone motivated to reach younger adults and families and grow this demographic in our church. - Someone experienced and/or passionate about youth work.
