We are looking for someone who will inspire in our young people a love for the Lord Jesus. You will have the ability to teach the Bible, and the vision to shape the direction of our thriving Youth Ministry. Plus a housing allowance of £13,474pa
Our new Youth Minister will be responsible for developing our busy ministry for youths aged 11 - 18 years at St Mary's Maidenhead. Currently this includes Pathfinder groups meeting each Sunday, weekly single sex growth groups, Friday night activities, Sunday night 'after church' and youth weekends away. You will set the direction for the future of this vital ministry, plan the teaching programme, train and support volunteer leaders, build relationships with young people and parents, partner with the children's minister, congregation leaders and other staff to keep the Youth Ministry high on the St Mary's agenda.
We are looking for someone who has a heart for youth ministry with an understanding of the challenges teenagers face and a vision for equipping them to live for Christ. You will already have had significant experience of teaching the Bible and ministering the gospel to young people. You will have the strategic skills to set the vision for the youth ministry. You will be able to inspire, engage and teach the young people, as well as recruit, develop, and guide a large team of volunteers. We are looking for someone who is well organised, resilient, self-motivated and teachable.
