Required skills

A clear enhanced DBS check The post has a genuine occupational requirement that the person is a practising Christian. A 'calling' to this area of work; experience, training, recognised gifting and skill are an advantage. We are looking for someone who understands and is 'caught' by the vision for this area of ministry, lives it, and can champion this vision to others. Openness to the work of the Holy Spirit and the exercising of spiritual gifts is encouraged. Strong relational skills. Not only do we need you to be able to communicate well with others in both spoken and written form we also need you to be approachable and able to listen well. Workload is varied and at times heavy so the ability to prioritise, time manage, use initiative and delegate are useful competencies. Technological competence is an advantage. We use iknow software and Office 365 for communications and to hold and manage data in the church. We have a website and use AV equipment and technology to support and enhance communication.

We welcome people of all demographics, but require applicants to profess a Christian faith. To find out more, request an application pack from people@wycliffe-church.org.uk or call 0118 9299911. The application deadline is 10th November.
