Senior Pastor

As our Senior Pastor of 28 years has decided to step aside to focus on serving the wider church, Dundonald Church seeks a new Senior Pastor to lead us forward in accordance with God's Word in a season of vigorous growth.

Responsibilities

We welcome applications from any pastor of Reformed Evangelical conviction who is, by God's grace: - a godly man – full of God's Spirit, servant-hearted, spiritually mature and graciously complementarian, with healthy patterns of prayerful devotions and evangelistic zeal - a gifted Bible teacher - committed to the inerrancy, authority, sufficiency and power of God's Word and the centrality of Bible teaching; and with a clear gifting for compelling expository preaching applied to diverse congregations - a servant leader – able, alongside our church's Governing Elders, to cast Biblical vision, lead strategic change, recruit and manage senior staff, conduct humble and generous liaison with other church leaders and ministries, but willing to contend for the Gospel where necessary, seeking to lead by example with honesty, compassion, grace and love - an experienced pastor - theologically trained with extensive experience of healthy church pastoral ministry and of developing teams in gospel ministries that effectively reach the lost and disciple God's family
