Rooted Churches is seeking to appoint a church plant resident to our 9-month training and assessment program. The Church Plant Resident will work in a local church setting to gain ministry experience.
Training and Assessment - Attend weekly training modules and engage with teachers, content and assigned reading. - Meet with Training Pastor and Elders regularly for assessment and feedback. - Complete the training program prior to being commissioned to plant a church. Bible teaching/preaching and pastoral duties Participate in local church ministry as assigned by the Training Pastor weekly. Regularly preach/teach the Word of God in a variety of church ministry settings. Support the vision and efforts of the local elder teams in their churches. Consistently communicate the salvation message in every ministry setting. Church Planting Recruit and grow a launch team to carry out and support the planting of a church in your location. Cast a compelling vision of why you are planting a church in your location. Work with the Training Pastor and Elder team to assess the progress of the launch team. Make regular contact with partner churches to update them on planting progress. Gather a prayer team together who will support you in prayer weekly.
