An exciting opportunity to serve in an overseas context (Bolivia), developing children's and youth ministry in a growing, dynamic city of some 3 million people.
To oversee the successful operation of the church's Sunday morning children's ministry. To oversee the successful operation of the church's youth ministry. To facilitate training opportunities where necessary for volunteers in children's and youth work. To preach on a monthly basis at the church, at the discretion of the Senior Pastor. To assist with pastoral visitation. To seek out opportunities for personal and professional development. To meet every two weeks with the pastor for prayer, leadership development, and mutual discipleship.
A vision for children's and youth work, particularly among TCKs ('Third Culture Kids'). An ability to work alongside Christians of diverse backgrounds, as Trinity is interdenominational in nature. Basic Spanish, with a willingness to commit to language learning, as some Trinity attendees are not fluent in English. Please note that the candidate must raise their own missionary support, but will receive a monthly stipend of $500.
Four weeks' vacation, plus local and national holidays. Assistant Pastor is free to take an additional home assignment period every two years, provided there is no clash with the Senior Pastor's furlough dates.
