We are a Reformed Evangelical Anglican Church in Central Bedfordshire that want to see our community reached with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We seek to appoint a new fulltime Children and Families Minister.

Responsibilities

Areas of Responsibility 1) To lead and develop the discipleship of our church children and youth by: o training, equipping, and supporting parents in the discipleship of their own children. o communicating an exciting vision for youth discipleship and evangelism to the church family. o leading our 10:30 Sunday morning kids group. o contributing to our Sunday morning 'kids spot'. o leading our youth bible study group. o leading on our annual youth camp. o visiting children and families in a pastoral capacity. 2) To lead and develop our church evangelism to youth and children by: o planning, leading, and developing our evangelistic youth group. o planning, leading, and developing our evangelistic parent and toddler group. o planning and running annual seasonal evangelistic family events. o pioneering new evangelistic opportunities. 3) To lead and develop our evangelistic work in our two schools by: o planning and leading regular biblical and evangelistic collective worship (assemblies) in our two church schools. o planning and leading regular 'prayer clubs' and other clubs at both schools. o planning and leading occasional school services at the church, as well as school visits. o alongside the incumbent, developing and delivering a systematic worship strategy with members of the Senior Leadership Team at both schools. o exploring other opportunities as they arise with the schools such as afterschool and lunchtime clubs. 4) To identify, train, and equip other children's and youth leaders. 5) Additional Responsibilities: o Performing the required administrative tasks for your role. o Provide a regular report to the PCC on children, youth, and schools activities. o Manage the youth budget and claim for relevant expenses. o Undertaking regular safeguarding training when necessary. o Other relevant tasks (including administrative tasks) required by the incumbent. o Attend ongoing training as required and financed by the church.
