Team Youth Worker

Looking to work in a supportive, collaborative team environment? For over 20 years Trinity Trust Team has been supporting young people in Godalming through schools, church and community programmes and is looking for an experienced youth worker to join us.

Responsibilities

Planning, resourcing and leading Word based Christian Union, after school clubs and midweek youth groups. Joining our youth café, outreach and school assemblies and workshops team. Managing volunteers, networking with local churches to develop partnership opportunities and scope to pioneer new projects according to your particular experience and skillset. Required skills

A commitment to living out the gospel. Having a creative and disciplined approach to planning, resourcing, delivering and evaluating Word based sessions. Experience in a similar role, the maturity to manage volunteers and uphold all the values of the Trust, to adhere to all policies. Above all to be passionate about Jesus, the Word and in supporting young people in reaching their potential.

Other

To have good time management skills and understand the impact on others of being last-minute! Having skills in worship-leading, tech and acting would complement our assemblies ministry. To have a sense of humour but to be serious about the need for young people to have Jesus in their lives.
