Staff Worker

To develop the schools based, camps focussed ministry among young people, through the prayerful, engaging and faithful teaching of God's word and associated support functions. Option for ongoing ministry training as part of the role.

Responsibilities

Sharing the gospel with young people in schools and on camps. Supporting Christian teachers and speaking in schools. Sharing in the teaching and training of teams for camps. Co-ordinating student reunions and prayer meetings. Leading on Lymington Rushmore camps. Planning and arranging activities for camps. Sharing in the care of students and support leaders on camps.

Required skills

Faithful and engaging bible teacher in a variety of settings Pastoral Care Competent IT skills Good organisation Growing in personal godliness and devotion Actively involved in the ministry of a local church Approachable and pastorally sensitive Able to relate to a wide variety of people Willing to work both alone and as part of a team Happy to work irregular hours and travel widely
