Associate Minister/Ministry Associate

We are seeking someone to share in the Ministry of Word and (if ordained) Sacrament in Inshes and particularly to lead and oversee the establishing of a new worshipping and witnessing community in Milton of Leys, Inverness

Responsibilities

To share in the ministry of Word and (if ordained) Sacrament and in the life, service and witness of Inshes East Church of Scotland To lead and oversee the establishing of a worshipping and witnessing community i.e. a church, in Milton of Leys (MOL).

Required skills

- 5 + yrs experience in Christian outreach and ministry (preferable) - Experience of preaching, teaching and leading worship (required) - Formal ministry training (preferable) - Previous experience of church planting (preferable) - Relocation to the Milton of Leys area (required)* - Experience of working with young families (preferable) - Experience in pastoral care (preferable) - Strong team and leadership skills (required) - Ability to work on own initiative (required) - Able to work flexibly including evenings and weekends (required)
