This is a full time training position, where time will be split between ministry in the church and training through the Masters course offered through the Pastor Training Course. A minimum of two days per week will be dedicated to study with one day off.
Responsibilities
Prayer: Regular time set aside alone and with others to pray for the church. Preaching and Leading Services: Preach regularly; the expectation would be twice a month though this could be tailored according to experience. Leading Sunday services as well as mid-week meetings Discipleship: To disciple individuals, hopefully establishing two regular 121s. Leadership Responsibility - Church Youth - To lead and develop our monthly Youth Group. (Desired but not essential) Other areas of involvement: To be explored with individual applicants. This might be…Encouraging and facilitating community involvement. (Eg. SU Group in local school)
Required skills
A character in keeping with the requirements for eldership in 1 Tim. 3:1-7. Signs of gifting in preaching, discipleship and evangelism.

We will require a wholehearted recommendation from your current Pastor or church leaders.
