Assistant/ Associate Pastor

We're looking to appoint an Assistant or Associate Pastor to work alongside our existing Pastor and staff team. To share in preaching, small group ministry, pastoral care, and other areas as appropriate.

Responsibilities

We're looking to appoint an Assistant or Associate Pastor (depending on prior experience) to work alongside our existing Pastor and staff team. The individual will share in preaching, small group ministry, pastoral care, and will also be involved in other areas depending on the individual's gifts and experience (e.g. music ministry, seniors, community outreach, youth or children's work etc). They will also join our leadership team of Elders. Start date is flexible. Permanent or fixed term, subject to discussion.

A personal, mature faith in Jesus, seen in humility, love, graciousness, and purity A love for the lost, care for the needy, and a desire to build up the family of God A commitment to the ministry of God's word engaging the hearts and lives of individuals Proven gifting in Bible teaching across a range of formats and contexts Experience in equipping and training others for word ministry and pastoral care Desirable: formal theological training (we welcome applicants currently in training), and membership of the FIEC Pastors' Network (or in the process of applying)
