Tech and Comms Manager

We are seeking to recruit an individual to oversee the Tech and Comms Team at St Helen's.

Responsibilities

- Planning and strategy for the tech at St Helen's. Monitoring team progress through agreed tasks and timelines. - Ensuring all IT needs are adequately covered through manging the in-house team and external contractors. This includes the day-to-day operation of the computer network, security of our tech, managing tech policies and working practices. - Working closely with the digital communications manager to ensure the website and tech platforms (eg resource library and APIs) are functioning adequately. Working pro-actively to ensure the website is kept up to date and working. - Managing the AV Co-ordinator to ensure the PA and livestream infrastructure are working.

Required skills

- Literacy in written and spoken English (to be able to give clear verbal instructions, to produce written instructions and reports, and to handle correspondence) - IT skills and knowledge to deal with issues in the daily running of the server, network and workstations and/or the ability to acquire them through training - Aptitude for IT such that the person can learn and develop the role

- Personal knowledge of and obedience to the Christian gospel - To work alongside others demonstrating Christian principles and behaviours
