An exciting opportunity to join a gospel church which seeks to glorify God by preaching Christ to make disciple making disciples in and around Guildford.

Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to support the mission of King's Church Guildford by teaching the Bible, leading the church and training others for service, so that the church might continue to grow in maturity & number for the glory of God. Key parts of the role will include: - Leading, caring for and building the church - Serving on the Leadership Team (Elders) and helping to develop and implement our vision - Recruiting & training leaders for ministry - Leading & preaching at Sunday services - Undertaking various operational tasks to help the running of the church

Required skills

We are looking to appoint a Pastor who is a gospel driven, servant hearted Bible teacher with the character, care, conviction and capacity to continue to build a church and strive together for the advance of the gospel.

Other

Prior experience of leading a church is desirable although not essential. The specifics of the role will be adaptable to the skills and experience of the successful candidate, but will include preaching, leading and training.
